| Dan Rooney's resume reads like
a storybook, with highlights that include time as a professional
athlete, to flying F-16 sorties over Iraq. Rooney's professional
life began in golf. After completing his NCAA career as
team captain at the University of Kansas and graduating
with a Masters on Science in Performance Psychology, Rooney
spent three years as a professional golfer, winning two
tournaments in 1996.
From there, Rooney entered Euro NATO Joint Pilot Training.
He recently served as a Captain in the United States Air
Force and is a decorated F-16 fighter pilot with the Oklahoma
Air National Guard. He has completed two tours of duty over
Iraq, receiving many commendations including the "Spirit
of the Attack" award as top wingman in F-16 training.
Rooney continues his involvement with the sport of golf.
Currently Dan is a majority owner of the historic Grand
Haven Golf Club in Grand Haven Michigan, a course that has
been ranked in the "Top 50 Public Courses in Nation"
by Golf Digest.
Rooney is also a developer with Townsend
Inc., a leading development company in Kansas City.
