Most recently, Blaine has been applying his real estate
expertise for the benefit of The Expert Companies own portfolio.
His acquisition duties for new projects include market analysis,
contract negotiation, property due diligence and transaction
closing. After a property is added to the portfolio, Blaine
is responsible for all leasing activities and property sales
including the development of strategic marketing plans,
management of local brokers, negotiations and tenant retention.
His innovative approach focuses on developing a more efficient
property marketplace where achieving the maximum value is
accomplished within reduced timeframes. By applying his
novel methods during past projects, Blaine has been successful
in generating substantial cash, preserving anticipated returns,
and obtaining higher and better bids that have contributed
over $20 million in additional value for property owners.
Blaine has worked to accurately set project expectations,
especially with regard to market values and sales/leasing
timeframes. He has made significant contributions to the
management of asset portfolios, including in-depth financial
reporting and yield analysis. Blaine profits from his management
of several nationwide valuation projects including creating
exact specifications, determining compliance and advising
throughout the entire valuation process.
Previous Experience
Before founding The Expert Companies, Blaine worked for
nearly ten years as Vice President for Glaze Commercial
Real Estate Advisors, a boutique firm specializing in delivering
corporate services to national companies. Prior to that,
Blaine worked in the market research department of CB Commercial,
now known as CB Richard Ellis.
